UPDATE - OCTOBER 21, 2013: As the "Cool City, Bro" project draws to a close, we have a few shirts remaining which will be available at Community Thrift and Vintage (address below) starting in a couple of weeks. The project has been a HUGE success - with your help, we've managed to take a $900 grant and raise over $4,100 for Megaphone and its programs for homeless and low-income vendors! Thanks again for your support everyone!! -JL

Have you ever looked at a map of Vancouver and noticed that the outline of the city looks a lot like a thumbs up? Vancouver born-and-raised artist Justin Longoz did, and it struck him as the perfect symbol of hope for a city that we all love despite its undeniable social and economic problems.

100% of the proceeds from sales of this limited edition tee will be donated to Megaphone Magazine, Vancouver's non-profit street paper based in the Downtown Eastside. Megaphone works to provide homeless and low-income Vancouverites with a voice and an economic opportunity.

This project was produced with the kind assistance of the Vancouver Foundation through a DTES Small Arts Grant. The shirts were printed locally at The Hive Printing.
